BACKGROUND + STRATEGY
Loop wanted to launch a global campaign to raise awareness of its stylish, noise-filtering earplugs. With a concept developed in-house, the brand approached Untold Fable to bring it to life. Loop wanted to use humour to cut through the noise and get across the message that its earplugs bring calm and sanity to modern life. Untold Fable partnered with directing duo GoshDamn to execute the vision. Instead of a traditional rollout, Loop adopted an agile approach, testing different creative executions in-market to see which resonated most.
The Work
“For When Life Gets Loud” features two humorous 30-second commercials that shine a light on those moments in life when tuning out the noise makes all the difference.
Third Date: A young man faces a desperate need for earplugs when his dad’s girlfriend visits and the evening moves upstairs.
The Newlyweds: A couple’s dream home becomes a noisy nightmare, plagued by a rock band, a construction crew and an overly enthusiastic trombone tutor named Trevor.
The campaign was delivered at pace, securing “American feel” locations in London and completing two full-scale shoots in just two and a half weeks. The ads ran globally across YouTube, Amazon Prime, and digital channels, with a particular focus on the US market.
THE TALENT
We commissioned GoshDamn to direct this project, the award-winning duo of Josh and Dan. Two filmmakers whose contrasting strengths come together in perfect sync. Josh leans toward the visually expressive and unconventional, while Dan’s instinct for story and character brings depth and emotion to their work. Their films balance cinematic flair with genuine human connection, creating pieces that feel alive and full of personality. Known for their infectious energy and open, collaborative approach, they make every project an enjoyable and inspiring process.
