We are looking for 1 x content creator in Tokyo, Japan to deliver a mini-suite of social first content that comprises 5 x videos and 5-10 stills that captures the spirit of going on local tours. The vibe should be human, dynamic, and personality-driven- not overly polished. Think ramen slurped on a neon-lit street, a quiet moment at a shrine, exchanging coins at a market, or hopping on the metro. We want real, scroll-stopping visuals that feel immersive and playful, spotlighting everything from food walks and tea ceremonies to retro arcades and hidden history tours.

We want this piece to feel dynamic, vibrant, and socially native - something that stops you mid-scroll and clearly evokes the joy of being on a tour.

We’re open to a range of content featuring different experiences and will provide a list of preferred seasonal focuses to help guide your shoot.

Key Requirements:

Personality and humour are key; lean into the realness of your personality, reactions and the joy of travel. This should feel socially native and engaging, not overly polished. It must be clear that you are enjoying a tour, in some way and not just generally site-seeing. 

Technical proficiency with capturing engaging social content using an iPhone with an emphasis on videos including candid, natural shots which feel both intimate and professional.Use unconventional angles, playful focal lengths, and visually unexpected moments to keep it fresh and engaging.

Experience with filming and editing quick turnaround social first content, for brands - using social trends and tapping into a brand personality. Use unconventional angles, playful focal lengths, and visually unexpected moments to keep it fresh and engaging.

Own equipment: Iphones, Gopros, Drones, or DSLRs are all acceptable equipment to bring this to life. Videos need to have good audio when recording.

Role Budget: $1,600 USD, which is a buyout for shoot, kit, delivery of rushes. Additional expenses can be agreed for local travel and subsistence, but no allowance for international travel.
