We’re seeking an experienced bilingual video editor who is fluent in both Mandarin and English. A skilled individual with a passion for editing documentaries is what we're looking for.

You will be working on an enlightening and captivating short documentary as part of video series that dives into the realm of traditional healing practices from diverse cultures across the globe. The content aims to educate and engage viewers by showcasing the fascinating world of ancient wellness techniques.

The edit has already been taken to a V1 stage by the filmmaker so the work would require you to pick up the edit after a handover with the current team. You will then be making amends in accordance with client feedback until completion of the film.

We need an enthusiastic editor who is capable of creating high quality branded content and is proficient in video editing for story led documentaries. Someone who possesses a good eye for displaying abstract cinematic shots and creating impactful soundscapes.

A stylised aesthetic with rich contrasting visuals is what we're aiming for. The ideal candidate is an editor who can deliver an authentic documentary style, with a visually "Lux" feel.

It would be great to see examples of previous story-led documentary work and branded content. In particular, interview focused content which features Mandarin speaking talent.

Role Budget: £1,750 GBP
